In a funny incident in the Egyptian stadiums, a football coach drove his team from the back of a bulldozer outside the stadium, after being suspended and fined.
Yesterday, Friday, the match between the Qutour Youth Center and the Egyptian star teams in the fourth division in Gharbia, northern Egypt, witnessed a funny situation, as Mohamed Hassanein Eno, the technical director of the Qutour Youth Center, led his team from the back of a “bulldozer” outside the stadium after being suspended and a fine of 50 thousand was signed. He owed it two years ago, and he hasn’t been able to repay it yet.
However, what is interesting about the incident is that the coach led his team to a 4-3 victory over his opponent, and it became the talk of communication sites in the country, after his funny pictures spread!
A fine that exceeds the club’s capabilities
For his part, the 32-year-old Egyptian coach told Al Arabiya.net that he had to act in this way after he was arrested and failed to pay the fine, which he said exceeded his financial capabilities and team.
He also added that “his monthly salary does not exceed 3,000 pounds, equivalent to less than $200, while the wages of the entire team’s players do not exceed 10,000 pounds per month, equivalent to less than 700 dollars, while the fine has reached 50,000.”
A post on Facebook got him stuck
In addition, he explained that the fine was imposed on him two years ago during his training of the Qhafa team, which plays in the fourth division, due to a post on his Facebook page, in which he criticized the officials of the competition.
He concluded, stressing that he had resorted to the bulldozer’s trick, in order to encourage and lead his team without being subjected to a new penalty, as it could not be proven that he was on the field in order to be subjected to a new fine or another suspension.
