“He was in shock”

A hit-and-run accident occurred this Thursday at noon in Spa. A 12-year-old student was knocked down on his way home, rue des Ecomines. He was hit by a car coming out of a garage. An investigation is underway.

The young boy was knocked down as he was walking home on rue des Ecomines. “He was walking down his street and then he was knocked down by a vehicle coming out of a garage. The driver fled, we still do not know who it is, ”explains the Fagnes police zone. An investigation is underway.

Fortunately more fear than harm, the child complains “only” of pain in the hip. “He was in shock,” police said.

The boy was picked up by an ambulance.
