The future institution is taking shape. Villa Sarasin has seen a lot of people pass through its walls. An architectural firm will develop a project in 2023.
Announced for 2025, the future Comic Strip Museum is taking shape. The Villa Sarasin, which will host this Geneva institution dedicated to the ninth art, has seen a lot of people pass through its walls. Auspicious. “We are now in the concrete”, assures Sébastien Maret, coordinator within the Association for a museum of comics and illustration (AMBDI). A call for tenders was launched a few weeks ago to find the architectural firm that will set up the reassignment of Villa Sarasin. “There is interest. Applications come mainly from Switzerland and French-speaking Switzerland. But also from further afield in Europe.”
