Health: There is no treatment that cures Alzheimer’s or stops its gradual progression

The Ministry of Health and Population said that there is currently no treatment that cures Alzheimer’s or stops its gradual development, but support can be provided to people with Alzheimer’s through early diagnosis in order to promote the optimal management of the patient in the sense of achieving the optimal level of physical health, cognitive ability, activity and wellness of the patient.

Alzheimer’s disease is a brain disease that causes a slow deterioration in memory, thinking and reasoning skills, and according to the alz website, there are warning signs and symptoms if you notice any of them, do not ignore them:

One of the most common signs of Alzheimer’s disease, especially in the early stage, is forgetting recently acquired information. Others include forgetting important dates or events, asking the same questions over and over again and an increased need to rely on memory aids.

Some people with dementia may experience changes in their ability to develop and follow a plan or deal with numbers, they may have difficulty following a familiar recipe or keep track of monthly bills, they may find it difficult to focus and take much longer to do things than they did before.

People with Alzheimer’s often find it difficult to complete daily tasks, sometimes having difficulty driving to a familiar location, organizing a grocery list, or remembering favorite game rules.
