Heat wave will affect the western US during the long weekend: Death Valley could break a world temperature record | Univision Meteorology News

While the focus of the most intense heat will be in the interior of California, there will also be unusual heat in other parts of the West. Denver, for example, will reach 90 degrees Fahrenheit, something that – according to meteorologist Chris Bianchi on Twitter – has not happened in 150 years, reported the
Washington Post.

Salt Lake City, Utah, which already reached a record high of 102 degrees on August 31, will once again see unprecedented temperatures on these dates. In
Phoenix (Arizona) the thermometer could mark the
109 degrees on sunday; Meanwhile in
Las Vegas the hottest days will be Saturday and Sunday with
110 degrees.
