The twelve-year-old young actress Helena Zengel from Berlin has arrived in Hollywood. In an interview, she reveals what it was like to film with Tom Hanks and openly admits her surprise about the nomination for a Golden Globe.

Berlin – Helena Zengel, born on June 10, 2008, discovered acting for herself at the age of five. After small roles, especially in television productions, she became known to a large public in 2019 when the film “Systemsprenger” by Nora Fingscheidt premiered at the Berlinale. Zengel plays Benni with behavioral problems and was awarded the German Film Prize and nominated for the European Film Prize for her impressive performance.
