Herbalife24 Los Angeles Triathlon hosted by 2021 Herbalife Nutrition Rewards international distance winners Vincent Luis and Emma Pallant-Browne with a cash prize of $ 40,000

To ensure the safety of participants and spectators, the company worked with public health officials in Angels to ensure that security protocols were in place and that they followed all applicable federal, state and local protocols. The event also followed COVID-19 security protocols established by United States Triathlon. In addition, disinfection stations and masks were available throughout the race for everyone.

In 2019, the Herbalife24 Los Angeles Triathlon brought the sport back to the streets of Angels. In 2020, the event was canceled due to the pandemic. This year, the athletes returned to swimming in the ocean at the iconic Venice beach. After the participants got out of the water, the race continued by bike on the Boulevard de Venise and through the heart of Angels, eventually culminating alongside the landmarks of Los Angeles and ending at LA Live’s famed open-air Xbox Plaza venue.

This triathlon is the only point-to-point urban route, which offers athletes various options of a triathlon and international and sprint distance relays, as well as an Aquabike, a Bike Tour and 5K Run walk.

At the end of the race, athletes and spectators gathered at the Finish Line Festival. The festival included entertainment, a space for children and Nation Ninja courses and other activities for the family.

The fundraising efforts of the 5k benefited FRDJ, this year’s non-profit organization working to fund type 1 diabetes research. At the finish line, as part of an official check discount, the organization received a 100 000 $ donation on behalf of Herbalife Nutrition and the Herbalife Nutrition Foundation.
