Hertha BSC: First water fun, then water damage in the Florida training camp Sports

He always hits!

On the field makes Hertha-Star Dodi Lukebakio (25) regularly wet his opponents. At Florida training camp this time his colleagues got it – literally.

The best Hertha attacker of the first half of the season (seven goals) is also accurate on the lawn of the IMG Academy in Bradenton, splashing down fellow player Lucas Tousart (25) with one of the extendable lawn sprinklers during the morning session on Saturday.

The Frenchman was probably not angry with the wing racer, in the hot Florida sun the cooling came in handy. Coach Sandro Schwarz (44) had his team win balls and practice offensive moves in the hour-long session.

The afternoon session was also about water. At the training ground in front of the main stand, where Hertha is testing against the lower-league teams Club de Lyon (8 p.m. CET) and The Villages SC (11 p.m. CET) on Sunday, a pipe was apparently damaged, water gushed out of the ground for minutes and flooded the edge of the field behind the goal.

Finally, helpers got the unwanted floods under control and the team coached by Sandro Schwarz (44) were able to demonstrate their liveliness on the pitch. Only Suat Serdar (25) trained individually for reasons of load control.

Great gesture: After the pros had finished their training, a U15 selection from the academy was allowed to complete a unit with the Hertha trainers.
