Winner of the Asian Games in 2018, Heung-min Son (27) had thus managed to avoid a 21-month military service in South Korea which would have put his sports career on hold. The Tottenham winger, however, was to participate in a reduced military service of four weeks. The health crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic will allow him to carry it out.
Returning to South Korea a few days ago for personal reasons, Heung-min Son will therefore have the opportunity to follow this program without disturbing his resumption of football with Tottenham as the club explained in a press release. Wounded in late February, he could finally participate at the end of the season if it resumes in May.
