High Court rules against Vijay Babu | Kerala High Court directs Vijaya Babu to produce his return ticket to India first – News18 Malayalam

Kochi: The Kerala High Court has asked producer and actor Vijay Babu to produce a return ticket to India. Justice P Gopinath’s oral order came when he informed that he was ready to appear before the inquiry team while considering the anticipatory bail in the sexual harassment case. The Justice also directed that the anticipatory bail application should first come under the purview of the High Court.

Police have revoked his passport. Vijay Babu told the court that he could not travel because of this. Vijay Babu told the court that he was angry that the complainant was not given a chance in the film and that he was not sexually harassed.

Police told the court that Vijay Babu was not cooperating with the investigation and had left the country and would not be granted anticipatory bail. Earlier in the day, the court had sought a stay on Vijay Babu’s anticipatory bail application from the government.

Police have received information that Vijay Babu is currently absconding in Georgia. If not, the probe team will issue a Red Corner Notice against the accused.

Kochi City Police Commissioner CH Na Garaju said that efforts are being made to find Vijay Babu in the case of rape of the actress. He also said that if Vijay Babu does not appear tomorrow, a Red Corner notice will be issued. Police have already contacted the Georgia embassy to find Vijay Babu absconding.

It is believed that Vijay Babu will be deported as his passport has been canceled. Aussie H Na Garaju said a police team would be sent to Georgia if necessary. Earlier, Vijay Babu had said that he would appear before the passport officer on May 19, but remained in hiding abroad. Vijay Babu informed the passport officer that he was on a business tour and would arrive only on May 24. A subsequent police investigation revealed that Vijaybabu had entered Georgia.
