On Wednesday at around 8.30 p.m., a 26-year-old man from Bregenz reported via the RFL that he had gotten lost in Götzis am Kummenberg and could no longer go forward or back.
The man was on a hike on the Kummenberg at 6:30 p.m. when he took a new, unfamiliar path. In doing so, he came across ever steeper and more impassable terrain. The Hohenems mountain rescue service was finally able to find the man in a very steep section of forest and bring him back safely. No people were injured in the incident.
