A 77-year-old Belgian from Papegem (in eastern Flanders) died on Friday during a mountain outing, swept away by a rockfall in Montenegro, Het Laatste Nieuws and VTM reported on Sunday. He lost his balance and fell to his death.
The septuagenarian was part of a group of 14 hikers, accompanied by a Dutch guide. He died in the Mount Komovi region of the Dinaric Alps.
