Detroit (AP) – National ice hockey player Moritz Seider has a new coach in the NHL. The Detroit Red Wings have announced the signing of Derek Lalonde to replace Jeff Blashill.
Lalonde was most recently an assistant coach with the Tampa Bay Lightning and has had his share of two championships and three Stanley Cup appearances in the past three years. Seider was recently named the NHL’s best rookie and is seen as a great hope for the Red Wings in the years to come.
