As much as video games take us to worlds full of fun and epic adventures, they are not far from or exempt from the circumstances of life and unfortunately this time we have to give one of those news that are not pleasant at all because the development scene and of fans of Horizon Zero Dawn is mourning the passing of Mike Nash.
Mike Nash, important creative of Horizon Zero Dawn
According to various reports, on January 21, the creative Michael Andrew Nash, 36, passed away unexpectedly although the cause of his death has not been revealed. The creative, specialized in art direction and design, participated in the creation of the film’s concept art Chappie, released in 2015, and even before his death he was in charge of designing the costumes and everything that had to do with robotics in the film Warriors Of The Future, which is in production and will be released in 2022.
Mike Nash was a hardworking individual who would put in the hours to get better and try to do the best work possible. Mike has sadly left us and has passed away.
I would like for the CG and art community to remember him for his legacy of outstanding visual 3D work above all. pic.twitter.com/BxSy7ZEH6o

However, his most recognized work was in Horizon Zero Dawn, a Guerrilla Games video game that debuted exclusively on PS4 and later came to PC. In it, Nash unleashed his creativity to create the concept art and designs of the creatures that dominated the world for this title. As you know, out of all the amazing things about Horizon Zero Dawn, highlighted these robotic creatures that had reclaimed the Earth and with which Aloy had to deal in her adventure.
Rest in peace, Michael Andrew Nash.
