A Bielefeld hotel was cleared at night due to a bomb threat. The hotel had received two anonymous threats from a previously unknown man, the police said. 106 guests had to leave their rooms for more than an hour and a half. The municipal utility provided two buses for the accommodation of the people.
Rescue workers searched the building with an explosive dog, after no suspicious items were found, the hotel was released. The caller had requested assets in the form of the digital currency Bitcoin. The investigation into his identity and the background of the crime was reportedly still in the morning. Nobody got hurt.
