Whenever the state invests in THE roads, dams, etc., this automatically trickles down to different sectors of the economy and thus creates a virtuous circle of growth. Public investment unlocks the potential of sectors by latency. And the IMF intends to support this dynamic. This observation by an economist from the Fund is obviously a source of pride for the Ivorian executive, and reinforces the economic policy carried out these latest years.
