How RATP makes the extension of its network profitable

After the extension of line 4 opened on Thursday, other lines (12, 11 and 14) will be extended by 2024.

Line 4 of the Paris metro extends its web in the southern suburbs. After serving Montrouge in 2013, here it is in Bagneux. Two additional stations (Barbara and Lucie Aubrac-Bagneux) were opened Thursday at noon. This extension is part of a vast program to extend the Paris metro. In the second quarter, line 12 will reach Aubervilliers town hall. At the end of 2023, line 11 will be enriched with six additional stations with a new terminus at Rosny-Bois-Perrier. In 2024, line 14 will stretch south to Orly and north to Saint-Denis Pleyel.
