How to live with pain?

Back pain, migraine, painful periods… These acute, chronic, occasional, frequent pains can make patients experience a real ordeal, cause bouts of fatigue and develop into depression. For patients, it is not always easy to express how they feel about pain. For their part, doctors sometimes have difficulty finding the right treatment.

On the occasion of the 17th world pain day, which takes place on the 3rd Monday of October, we take stock of this invisible evil.

At the end of the program, we take stock of a double gene therapy against sickle cell disease with the Pr Marina Cavazzana, Professor of Hematology at Paris-Descartes University, Head of the Department of Innovative Therapeutics at the Necker Enfants Malades Hospital in Paris and Coordinator of the Clinical Investigation Center in Biotherapy at theImagine Institute in Necker.
