A Kentucky man is accused of shooting his roommate who allegedly ate the residence’s last ‘Hot Pocket’.
The facts took place at the end of the week in Louisville.
Clifton E. Williams, 64, was arrested after injuring his roommate during an argument.
According to the WLKY television channel, the suspect would have been angry that the victim had eaten the last “Hot Pocket” of the household.
The two reportedly began to fight, with Williams throwing pieces of tile at his roommate.
The latter allegedly tried to flee, but was caught by the suspect who had just gone to get a weapon.
Wounded in the buttocks, the victim managed to warn the authorities by taking refuge with neighbors.
The unidentified man was taken to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Clifton E. Williams has been charged with assault and must comply with several conditions before his return to court on May 30.
