Hyundai launches all-new Kona small SUV in Korea | Auto and Moto

Hyundai Motor Co. has just launched the all-new Kona small SUV in the domestic market, and plans to introduce electrified version in the second quarter of 2023.

This year, Hyundai Motor aims to sell 37,000 new Kona units.

The second-generation Kona comes with either a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine, a 2-liter engine or a 1.6-liter hybrid engine, the company said.

This model is priced from 25 million won to 36 million won ($20,000-29,000).

Hyundai also expects hybrid models to account for 40% of total vehicle sales Kona in this year.

The model also comes with safety features including forward collision avoidance, lane keeping assist, driver attention warning and a parking collision avoidance system.
