The musician surprised everyone during the last minutes of The Voice after submitting his resignation due to health reasons.
Surprisingly, the singer Jorge Caraccioli resigned from the competition of The Voice this Wednesday night, moments before appearing in the competition, specifically in the new category called knockouts.
The musician was going to face Carolina Rosinelli, who began singing I believe in myself by Natalia Jiménez, receiving multiple compliments from the coaches.
After that, Julián Elfenbein introduced Caraccioli, stating that he would sing What one day was, will not be of Jose Jose. But, when you stand on the stage, the singer did not perform his show.
“Good night dear friends. Unfortunately, I have to withdraw from the competition“, he said, surprising those present. “I have a very sick throat and in a competition of this level, one has to be 100% and I am not,” she assured.
“The truth is that when a footballer has a tear he cannot play and I can’t sing, my throat is very sick. I need two weeks to recover, so out of respect for you, the public, the jury, I have decided to step aside, “he added, moved to tears.
“It’s something I do with great sorrow (…) but I can’t. I can’t, kids, it doesn’t give me the throat “he added with a broken voice.
In that, the Chilean jazz icon thanked Elfenbein and the show’s production for the opportunity, and was then applauded by the public while the members of Gente de Zona approached his pupil to hug him.
In that, Caraccioli clarified that currently suffers from acute pharyngitis.
