The court sentenced a woman in her 20s who was handed over to trial for hitting a man in his 60s with a mobile phone in the head of a Seoul Subway Line 9 train.

Judge Jeon Beom-shik of the Seoul Southern District Court sentenced to one year in prison at the first trial of a woman in her 20s, who was arrested and charged with special injuries on the 6th.

A drunken man spit on the Seoul Subway Line 9 train headed for Gayang Station on the night of March, and B, a man in his 60s, stopped it. In the process, when he got into an argument, Mr. A hit Mr. B’s head several times with his cell phone. At that time, blood from Mr. B’s head was so much that it ran down to his chin. When Mr. B grabbed Mr. A’s bag and stopped him, he shouted, “I’ve got a police officer’s back” and “It’s dirty, so let go.” Afterwards, A was indicted in April on charges of violence.

In October of last year, during the first trial, it was revealed that he poured drinks on a passenger’s head on Subway Line 1 and hit him with a bag and hand, and charges of assault were added.

The court merged the two cases and tried them. The former judge explained the reason for the sentencing, saying, “Many passengers were witnessing the situation, and they continued to assault Kim even though they were drying up Kim or filming the crime.” “The accused was not forgiven by the victim.”

On the other hand, Mr. A admitted to all the charges at the third trial held on the 22nd of last month, but appealed for leniency, saying that he had been bullied in the past and had been stressed at work. When A was sentenced to prison that day, he left the courtroom without saying a word, bowing his head.
