“I’ve already shown my potential,” he said, referring to his 33 podium places, 16 pole positions and eleven fastest laps in the Moto2 class, in which he was crowned world champion in 2014.

Moto2 is made for young riders who then step up. The only thing I would like about Moto2 is that there are more events than in the Superbike World Championship. “
Regarding the advantages of the near-series 1000 cc World Championship, the Ducati rider said: “I could train on the track with my bike at home and there is less pressure in every respect. I think the SBK paddock is a nicer place that is more familiar and more fun. Maybe there is less interest, ”he enumerated. “What is certain is that I no longer pay for racing. But I don’t know how the choice between Moto2 and Superbike will be. “
