Department stores and large marts, which could only be accessed by filling out an electronic access list such as a QR check for Corona 19, will also be unable to enter without vaccination from next year.
In a briefing on the morning of the 31st, the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters announced that even large marts and department stores with an area of 3,000 square meters or larger that are subject to the electronic access list will be restricted from using them without a quarantine pass from January 10th. Accordingly, users of large marts and department stores are required to check whether they are vaccinated or PCR (gene amplified) negative when entering.
The Central Headquarters said, “In the past, large marts and department stores were excluded from the application of the quarantine pass due to difficult access control, but we decided to apply it in consideration of the constant concerns about the risk of quarantine and equity with other facilities.”
However, in consideration of the on-site confusion and the time required to prepare facilities to confirm the quarantine pass, it was decided to grant a one-week guidance period from January 10 to 16.
