MEXICO CITY.
Mexico City will recruit volunteers from three municipalities for Phase III of the covid-19 vaccines from the companies Janssen Pharmaceuticals from the United States and Cansino Biologics and Walvax Biotechnology.
This was announced by the Head of Government, Claudia Sheinbaum on November 3 when she explained that the Cansino Biologics vaccine will participate in the Health Centers of Tlalpan and Xochimilco and in that of Janssen Pharmaceuticals they will be from Iztapalapa.

He pointed out that the details will be reported in coordination with the Federal Health Secretariat, as it is a special protocol.
He recalled that residents of Mexico City already participate in other research protocols, mainly at the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition, Salvador Zubirán.

While at a press conference at the National Palace, Foreign Minister Marcerlo Ebrard declared last Wednesday that the federal Health Secretariat and Cofepris approved on October 30 the authorization for CansinoBIO to start Phase III of its vaccine in Mexico.
The single dose of the vaccine from the Chinese-Canadian pharmacy will be applied to 10 to 15 thousand Mexican volunteers.
