You have undoubtedly not bypassed the exit of Immortals Fenyx Rising sure Nintendo Switch and other machinery in December of last year. Criticized for its resemblance to a certain The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and at the same time praised for its mastery, the game has among others been tested by our team, more precisely by LatoJuana, at its output. But as often with a new game Ubisoft, we ask ourselves the question of sales figures, particularly on Switch where the public does not always seem to be very welcoming to this studio (I love you Starlink: Battle for Atlas, I miss you).
But it seems that success is there, at least according to Ubisoft themselves. Without giving specific figures, the studio said through Frederick Duguet (Ubisoft CFO) what follows :
Immortals Fenyx Rising, our new license, continues to experience healthy sales as the game enjoys one of the highest feelings of community that a Ubisoft game has ever had. It has everything it takes to become a title that sells for the long haul, especially on Switch, where it continues to expand Ubisoft’s audience reach.
Ubisoft has never been stingy with games on Nintendo Switch and even tended to support the Wii U at its output. So hope that this success for Immortals Fenyx Rising confirms them in this state of mind and that the next games of the studio will arrive on the machine of Nintendo, in any case the games whose porting is technically viable.
