A fight involving fifty to a hundred Syrians took place this Friday evening. The hostilities first began in Albert Park, which is located at the crossroads formed by Avenue Joseph Baeck and Boulevard Edmond Machtens, and then continued in a house on Rue d’Ostende, in Molenbeek.
Judicial arrests
Each time, the police had to intervene in large numbers to restore calm; in reality, it was absolutely necessary to call for reinforcements from two to three other police forces than that of Brussels West to achieve this!
Questioned, the spokesperson for the Brussels public prosecutor’s office, Martin François, confirms the facts: “These police interventions gave rise to four judicial arrests. The suspects were interviewed before being released. The investigation is continuing. »
According to a source close to the investigation, this would be the result of a conflict between two Syrian families which would again be linked to a dark marriage story… As a reminder, at the beginning of last June, in Schaerbeek, a Syrian had been stabbed and this was the result of a marriage-related revenge.
