The new red zones concern central Jutland in Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Ile-de-France, Aquitaine, Limousin, Poitou-Charentes, Languedoc-Roussillon, Midi-Pyrénées, Auvergne, Rhône-Alpes and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur regions in France, Central Macedonia, Western Macedonia, Western Greece and the Peloponnese in Greece, Sicily and Sardinia in Italy.
