  • “In 2023, the festival will take place over one day less, from Wednesday August 16 to Sunday August 20”, announces Benoît Queffeulou, co-president of Saint-Loup. “During this week, three demonstrations are taking place at the same time around Guingamp. We didn’t want to overshadow them. “The event will be marked by three evenings, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, of which “each will have a specific theme”, specifies Malo Dornemin, co-president.

  • 2 Les Négresses vertes headlining on Friday

  • The evening of Friday August 18 will have rock as its theme. “We will have the pleasure of welcoming Santa Claws in the first part. It is a group from the Guingamp basin which will play at Saint-Loup for the first time, ”reveals Benoît Queffeulou. “The Green Negresses will be the headliner of this evening. Spectators will have the pleasure of listening to hits such as “Zobi la mouche” or “Voil’ l’été”.

  • 3 Entertainment and “after parties”

  • “We wanted to offer more substantial evenings in terms of musical programming,” says Malo Dornemin. Thus, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the evenings will not end after the concerts. “The party will continue with shows. During these five days of festivities, the whole of the city will also live to the rhythm of the event. “There will be lots of entertainment. “Celtic circles, musical groups, or even initiations into Breton strength games.

  • “The competition for the Excellence Prize will begin on Saturday afternoon in town”, indicates Benoît Queffeulou. This year, for the first time, the public will be invited to vote for their favorite band. The national final of the Breton Celtic Circles Dance Championship will take place on Sunday. “We already know that 10 circles will be present at Guingamp and more than twenty judges will be on hand to decide between them. »

  • The rest of the event’s lineup will be unveiled in March. In the meantime, the ticket office has just opened. It is already possible to book the week pass at the price of 60 euros and tickets for the evening of Friday 18 August. “They are priced at 22 euros for the adult rate, 16 euros for the reduced rate, 10 euros for 8-18 year olds and free for children under 8,” explains Malo Dornemin.
