Tabuk Heights, with its golden sands, is a prominent tourist destination in the winter season

Photographer Muhammad Al-Sharif documented with his lens the beauty of Jabal Al-Lawz in the Tabuk region, after it was covered with snow with the cold wave during which the snow fell at dawn last Saturday.

The heights of Tabuk are considered a tourist destination in the winter, especially with the snow descending on their peaks, as well as the golden sands in the Al-Zaytah region, which embrace the beautifully colored mountains, which appeal to lovers of wilderness trips.

Jabal Al-Lawz is located in the northwest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, specifically near the Jordanian border in the Tabuk region, about 200 km northwest of the city of Tabuk.

Al-Jabr is 2549 meters above sea level, and is considered one of the highest mountain ranges in the Hasma region, whose mountains are an extension of the Sarawat Mountains from west of Tabuk to Wadi Rum in Jordan.

The mountain is called “the almond mountain” due to the presence of almond trees in it in the past. The rock drawings dating back to about 10,000 BC are spread in the area, in addition to ancient inscriptions and Islamic writings.
