Democratic Party presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung appeared on the progressive YouTube channel ‘Dot Face’ and was asked questions such as Ahn Hee-jung, former governor of South Chungcheong Province.
In an interview with ‘Dot Face’, which was released on the afternoon of the 19th, candidate Lee shared his experiences when asked what he thought about the sexual assault case of former Chungnam governor Ahn and former Seoul mayor Park Won-soon.
Candidate Lee said, “Rather than being careful, I am very sensitive to infringing on the human rights of others. I said a lot not to use it, and I tried to put it into practice.”
“However, seeing the controversy over forced sexual harassment by superiors at work, I thought, ‘How should I fundamentally solve this?’, ‘Should the fence rule be applied? He added.
He added, “I am in a position to make other people not do that, so there seems to have been no such risk for decades.”
When asked if he was afraid of this candidate (in relation to the sexual assault controversy), Lee said, “I was concerned that there would be room for distortion and attack since there was no such thing.”
