“The FoodEshow”, the first virtual trade fair dedicated to the food industry, is holding its second edition from March 9 to 12, 2021, the organizers announced.
The event will bring together exhibitors and experts from 5 continents and representative of the various sectors of the food industry, say the organizers in a press release, stressing that in line with the previous edition, an attractive program is designed to lead to partnerships through the participation of large buyers.
Africa, which represents a great growth opportunity for operators in the sector will be at the heart of this 2nd edition of The FoodEshow, notes the same source, indicating that a sub-theme will be dedicated to the opportunities offered by the continent for investors in the sector thanks to its immense potential for agricultural production and the rapid increase in food imports which has been taking place there in recent years.
Partnerships with various institutions will allow this highlighting, in particular the one initiated this year with the Planning and Coordination Agency of the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD). She will present her Grow Africa initiative dedicated to private companies in agribusiness in Africa.
In addition, the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investments and Exports (AMDIE) will present, for the second consecutive year, the potential of Morocco through a pavilion including 35 business stands, said the same source.
And to add that this second edition is designed to offer an optimal and more personalized experience thanks to artificial intelligence. Participants can thus access the latest technology in food processing, conservation, packaging, etc., in training workshops in branding, regulatory watch and markets; and open up to other areas of expertise to develop their business.
Until June 25, they will be able, through the platform now available in three languages (English, Spanish and French), to establish and maintain contacts but also to initiate and develop partnerships in all continents.
