Intel Commits Continued Improvements and Improvements to Arc GPU Enhanced DX11 Gaming Performance

Intel has announced that it will provide future improvements and enhancements to the DX11 gaming performance of its graphics card Arc GPU.

Intel Arc GPU is a situation where users are complaining about the low performance of DX11 in DX12 gaming and DX11 gaming. A typical example is Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The difference in performance between DX11 and DX12 is 50%, which is quite different from current AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards.

As a result, Intel’s current Arc GPU API, that is, graphics driver, is somewhat outdated, but Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger said that it plans to continuously improve it.

On the other hand, the high-performance GPU lineup Arc A5 and A7 release dates were delayed due to delayed supply chain problems and in-house software problems in the aftermath of Corona 19, but added that shipments will start in the upcoming third quarter.
