A betrayal he still has in his throat, as he explained to Voici.fr.
Voici.fr : Ah the famous construction of the raft, we can say that it was difficult to find common ground in your team. You quickly take control and yet they didn’t want to listen to you, until they realized that the raft would sink if they didn’t put enough bamboo!
Rudy : I was a bit frustrated that people didn’t understand me and didn’t listen to me. Compared to the passive, I understand that they have less confidence and that they want to trust Frédéric more. I take my pain in patience and I let them try their idea. Afterwards, since I was sure of myself on that one, I’m waiting for that to change.
We feel that you have several times wanted to impose yourself against your comrades.
I noticed that I was starting to annoy. We are in a recomposition, we must leave room for everyone. Especially Fred who put himself forward. I’m not going to make the same mistakes, I’m going to try to step back and let Fred do things, since he likes to be involved. Since we are often in defeat, I take it for myself and tell myself that I am not applying the right method. I let Fred do things.
A few hours before comfort, Quentin gets angry saying that no one except Esteban and Clémentine take care of the fire. You even tell the board that you were doing more than others. Who were you talking about?
Anne Sophie. Lately, she hasn’t been very active on the camp and not very active on the fire. She was sleeping and more or less everyone was spinning for fire. I took care of the fire in the first ones, so after that I’m quiet. Anne-Sophie, on that side, she was totally absent.
Nothing suggested that your team was going to win comfort, and yet luck caused the yellows to lose due to an error… Was this a scenario you had considered? Or did you think everything was lost in advance?
All was lost in advance. Seen how they paddled and their boat which was lighter than ours… When we see the event, we see that they catch up with us and fate… We were lucky. For me it was lost. They were close to catching us and fate caused their raft to break.
Rudy, question of the utmost importance! Was the chicken you tasted hot or full of rainwater?
(Laughs). They weren’t too wet, it rained but you know when you’re hungry on Koh-Lanta, believe me wet or not wet, it doesn’t make any difference. We don’t go into details on that side.
Then comes the immunity test with the return of Tania, who was one of your allies before the recomposition of the teams, in what state of mind are you in seeing her again?
I’m glad to see her again. I was disappointed that she was eliminated, so to see her again even if she is in yellow, I tell myself that she can continue the adventure and that makes me happy. Even if she’s not with me. I think that at some point, the most important thing is to continue the adventure.

Before the advice, you have a flash of lucidity in deciding to pretend that you have a fake immunity collar. What was the trigger?
Everyone says ‘we vote Anne-Sophie‘. But I think it’s too smooth. I go to Esteban and tell him it’s weird. For me, it was him or me. He will look for the information on his side. He comes to inform me at the last minute that I am in danger. He confirms me and warns me in secret that I am in danger. We had a code. When either of them was in danger, he would come over to me, put his hand on my shoulder and apply light pressure. It meant danger. From there, it confirmed my doubts. I had to do some kind of spiel about a possible necklace.
Which unfortunately didn’t work.

Anne-Sophie chose to vote on merit, and Helena wanted to break your partnership with Esteban… How do you react to their remarks?
Evil. For Anne-Sophie, I totally disagree. It’s like when she tells Alexandre that he’s less deserving in swimming events, in sports. Alexandre had done a lot of things on the camp. Casually, I’m not the most deserving of throwing and swimming. I advance and I swim as it is necessary. On the camp, she does practically nothing. She only rests, she does not take care of the fire. She doesn’t really take care of the boat. She’s not going to look for food. For Helena, I experienced it as a betrayal. We were together, she talks about a pair, whereas when she found herself in danger, I warned her. I protected her. She was always more or less with me. We are reds, mixed with yellows. If we ever want to go far despite the defeats, we have to support each other. I haven’t understood this turn of events since Tania. Indirectly, Tania was the extra person who made me eliminate the yellows. We were outnumbered. So there, this phase of going to see the “enemies”. Whether it’s Anne-Sophie who takes the first steps and Helena follows… For the future, it’s poorly thought out. It’s a bad strategy. Leaving the yolks in the lead… I don’t think that mixes well.
Looking back, what would you change in your adventure?
That side precisely (laughs)! I wouldn’t trust Helena and Anne-Sophie at all. It’s really a pity. Or else, I would explain that despite the defeats, we have to stay together. For reunification, if we want to go further, we have to stay together despite everything the scabs may say.
One can imagine that there was therefore a lack of communication or listening.
I don’t think it’s a lack of communication. I said that we have to stick together no matter what. They, with their ambition to want to move forward day by day, did not think about the future.
What was the most difficult in this Koh-Lanta?
I think I was well conditioned on the distance from loved ones. I told my daughters ‘no news, good news’, so as long as they don’t hear from me, I’m going as far as possible. On food, I think I held up well. I think the hardest part was the physical and human challenges. When people on his team, we think they are with us. Helena who looks at me and says ‘I’m not voting against you…’ Eliminating someone, I have no problem with that. It’s just the way to do it. Tomorrow, I am offered a season, I would act differently. But this game, this adventure, I loved it.

Yes No problem. Tomorrow, I would have a proposal, I would leave without problem. I am a gamer.
