Düsseldorf In the middle of the week, the German share index (Dax) recorded price gains. And that although the latest economic figures in Germany have been sobering. The German economy collapsed by 9.7 percent in spring because of the corona crisis, as the Federal Statistical Office reported on Tuesday. Many employees fear losing their jobs or are on short-time working in the face of the severe recession. The German benchmark index rose on Wednesday in the course of trading by around half a percent and was now listed at 13,127 points.
