The app lets you import photos, videos, music, text, and more, with the app being able to ask you specific questions to help you write about your experiences more accurately.
This allows you to keep specific events or memories as well as do things like daily affirmations, and you can set up alerts to remind you to fill them in on a daily basis.
standby mode
Standby mode introduces a whole new way to use your iPhone when it’s not in active use. It’s basically a mode that turns your iPhone into something like a smart digital display when charging and in landscape orientation.
The screen will display recent photos, the time in a larger format, popular tools, live activities, and more.
Name Drop feature
Name Drop is a new AirDrop-related feature that allows for easier contact sharing between iPhone users in the same location as you.
Bring the iPhone near someone you want to share contact details with and they will be sent automatically. You will also receive their contact details at the same time.
It includes information like names, contact photos, email addresses, and more, and it also works between iPhones and Apple Watch as long as they’re updated with the latest software.
Check-In feature
Apple introduces a new check-in functionality to iPhone with iOS 17 that basically automates this process for you.
The feature will send automatic updates to your pre-selected contacts in the Messages app letting them know when you’ve arrived home.
The function tracks the route you took on your trip, and will alert your contacts if you are late, deviate from that route, or don’t get home at all.
You’ll also share vital information like your smartphone’s battery level, helping to provide peace of mind to concerned loved ones around the world.
