[Yahoo News Report]Iran’s missile attack on Israel has temporarily come to an end. The Israeli military said it had received no reports of casualties; local media quoted rescue organizations as saying that two people in Tel Aviv suffered minor injuries, suspected to be caused by missile fragments.

Reuters quoted a senior Iranian official as saying that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ordered the attack.

The Israeli military stated that Iran fired about 180 missiles towards Israel. Spokesman Daniel Hagari said that many of the missiles were intercepted and the rest landed in central and southern Israel. Hagari said there will be consequences for this attack.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Iran has made a major mistake this time and will pay a price for it, emphasizing that no matter who is attacked, Israel will fight back.

U.S. Secretary of State Blinken responded that Iran’s missile attack on Israel was completely unacceptable and should be condemned by the world. Separately, four people were killed in a shooting in Tel Aviv before Iran launched a missile. Local police said the two gunmen had been “subdued.”

Earlier, Iran was suspected of launching a second wave of ballistic missiles over Jerusalem. Israel said that at least nearly 200 missiles were fired at Israel from Iran. Jordan has suspended air traffic and no flights are taking off or arriving at all Israeli airports.
