A yellow warning is in effect throughout the rest of the country from 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening to 10:00 a.m. Friday morning.
The IRM predicts that the snow disturbance will leave Belgium from the south overnight. The weather should then gradually become dry all over. The meteorological institute warns that an additional layer of a few centimeters of snow should be added to the layer already fallen in the provinces of Hainaut, Namur and Luxembourg. During the night, frosts are expected almost everywhere. MRI therefore calls for vigilance, also because of the local risk of hard patches of snow.
In addition, a yellow warning to rain falls is in effect from 9 p.m. to midnight Thursday evening in the provinces of Hainaut, Namur and Luxembourg. Precipitation that can exceed 25 liters per square meter in 24 hours is indeed possible.
