Kerala took the lead in the 62nd minute through Alvaro Vasquez’s goal after a goalless first half. Malayalee player Prashanth scored the second goal for Kerala in the 85th minute.
Odisha FC scored the consolation goal in the fifth minute of injury time as Kerala remained unbeaten on two goals until the 90th minute. Nikhil Raj Murukesh Kumar scored the last-minute consolation goal for Odisha.
The Blasters will face Odisha in the fourth match after finishing the first three matches with one defeat and two draws. It was Odisha’s first defeat of the season after winning the first two matches.
