The plenary session of the Senate of the Republic urged Luis Antonio Ramírez Pineda, head of the Institute for Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), to present a report on the compliance with the supply of drugs for cancer treatment, as well as medical care in general throughout the country.

Through a point of agreement, the members of the Senate Social Security Commission agreed on the need to grant and guarantee to each of the citizens the coverage of the basic needs of a comprehensive healthHe and everything related to article 4 of the Constitution, regarding the right to health.
“The Senate of the Republic respectfully exhorts the Director General of the Institute of Social Security and Services for State Workers, Luis Antonio Ramírez Pineda, to present a timely report on compliance with the supply of drugs for cancer treatment in the specific, and for medical care in general throughout the national territory, as well as any administrative irregularity that exists with the possible existence of “aviators” within the Institution, sending documentary evidence of the investigations carried out and the results obtained “, can be read in the point of agreement.
