Virgin Media star Katja Mia is busy planning her upcoming nuptials with longtime love Daragh Curran.

The couple, who got engaged in August 2024 during a romantic Italian getaway, have set their wedding date for 2026. But before saying “I do,” Katja and Daragh will be heading to Burundi, Katja’s parents’ homeland, for a traditional engagement ceremony.

“I have my traditional engagement. We’re going to burundi, which is were my parents are from,” Katja shared. “It’s such a big deal over there to have a traditional engagement where Daragh has to pay a dowry. There are speeches and there’s Burundian dancers and drummers.”
