After the tie between Colo Colo and the University of Chile at the Monumental Stadium, coach Rafael Dudamel spoke after the match, assuring that “we did things well”, among other concepts.

But there was a specific question that bothered the Venezuelan and had to do with the historic negative streak of the University of Chile at the Monumental stadium.

When asked if he believes that today the U missed the opportunity to end the bad streak in the monumental stadium against the worst Colo Colo in history, the university coach felt that they disrespected him.

Dudamel replied that “It seems like a pretty… disrespectful question to me. I can respect your way of asking, but that is not the concept that I can give today of the rival ”.

“We have missed an important opportunity to win 3 points because we did things very well. Later, history implies that it was also a nice occasion to break that statistic. But the most important thing for us today was to know the meaning of the three points, the location on the table knowing the needs of the rival as well ”, he added.

And he went on even further: “But one thing was a consequence of the other. Winning the 3 points was also being able to break that statistic from so many years. But hey, unfortunately it was not possible and the feeling remains that we were close to achieving it. We get a point for the house. In the home game against Iquique nothing else serves us but to win ”.
