“It was embarrassing to shoot” … Helena Noguerra returns to her scenes of harassment

She is the red thread of this early spring on television. After Replacing (of which we know if other episodes are planned) and before Cassandre next April 2 on France 3, Helena Noguerra arrives tonight in the series Clem on TF1. Present as a guest-star only during this season 12 of the family comedy, Lio’s little sister plays Iris Kahn, a teacher who will teach graphic arts to Valentin (Thomas Chomel) and try to seduce him until going beyond certain limits. . A villainous role that she took on with enthusiasm, even if certain scenes were “embarrassing” to play. She tells.

“I was happy to be able to join Lucie Lucas on her Clem series”

Télé Loisirs: Did you know the series Clem before agreeing to join the cast?

Helena Noguerra : I had already filmed with Lucie Lucas in The Little Female, of Philippe Faucon, and I had fallen in admiration in front of this woman, her energy, her commitment [elle a été candidate sur une liste écologiste aux dernières élections régionales, ndlr], his way of life [elle habite dans une ferme en Bretagne ndlr]. So I was happy to be able to join her on her series, which also allows me to go to an object of popular culture, which conveys very societal messages.

You play a predatory graphic arts teacher, a real villain!

My character, Iris Kahn, flirts openly with Valentin, who is one of her students, until she crosses certain limits. It was both interesting but embarrassing to shoot, and so as not to make Thomas Chomel uncomfortable, I asked his consent for each scene containing inappropriate gestures.

Iris Kahn is very sure of herself, is it an easy costume to put on?

You have to dissect a thought, imagine a choreography, it’s very different from the characters you usually see me do, who are more bouncy, more twirling, dapper, sparkling. In the costume I was made very jeweled with rings and I move my hands a lot as a result, it’s a language. And at the same time, Iris has a rather stiff body, always in pants. It was necessary to perform like a choreography and find the dangerousness of the character while keeping him a humanity.

“I love to transmit”

What knowledge of the profession of teacher did you have?

I have a French teacher friend whose name is Thierry, and who tells me a lot about his students. I really have a passion for this function. I had already made teachers and I love that, I love the transmission that I sacralize a lot. I wanted to be a child psychologist because I love supporting young people. Besides, when I was with all these young people on the set of Clem, I loved being this actress who rolled her bump and reassures them about what we can do like saying “no” for example and imposing her opinion on the set. That’s why I don’t have a problem growing old because I really like taking on this role.

Does Clem, a very young mother and equally young grandmother, echo in you ?

I am less young [52 ans, ndlr] but already grandmother me too. So yes, the character speaks to me. She is a very modern, very fresh woman who takes charge of herself.

On your side, you are not yet offered roles of grandmother…

No, but I would like to ! We are in a time when we have finally taken the freedom to age with joy. This is good news, and so I would like to modernize and break the image of the 50s. But that’s already somewhat the case: today, I’m being offered the roles of women who are a bit extravagant, assumed, gendered and not at all aging, roles that are less clichéd than those offered to young women.

“I have aged, there is no mystery, and I now go to the essentials”

Lio, your sister, was recently in the credits of the TV movie She saved me, on M6. No production has ever thought of bringing you together in front of a camera ?

It might be fun, but we gave up on the idea a long time ago. It’s a fantasy of little girls who want to play Ladies of Rochefort. As time passes, and nobody being inspired, we don’t think about it anymore. You have to get rid of projects that don’t get done, otherwise it becomes a pebble in the shoe.

You have expressed your wish not to publicize your private life any longer. Why ?

When you start, you are happy to talk about yourself and do not realize the impact on your loved ones. But when you get older, you realize that all the things said will one day turn against you. Especially since in our time, everything is taken up on the Internet, unlike the 1980s when a sentence pronounced at Ardisson when you had drunk too much did not lead to your killing on social networks. So I no longer want to spread out. I’ve aged, there’s no mystery, and I’m now getting to the point.
