Functional ovarian cysts (follicular and luteal cysts)
Follicular cysts – these are overgrown follicles that did not covulate in time. The main reason for their appearance is hormonal failure in the body.
Luteal cysts – These are excessively large corpus luteum, sometimes with hemorrhage. They can occur in early pregnancy, when ovulation is stimulated by various drugs. These cysts usually do not require surgery and disappear on their own..
