It’s wood, but it’s high spec? wooden gaming pc

Although it has a design that reminds us of eco-friendliness, a ‘high-performance PC made of wood’ has been unveiled that does not envy the latest gaming PC in terms of performance.

Today (24th), Devolver Digital unveiled a wooden PC made to promote the environmental restoration puzzle simulation game ‘Terra Nil’. In order to publicize the concept of the game ‘Terranille’, which aims to create great nature such as grasslands, wetlands, sandy beaches, and tropical rainforests using advanced ecological technology, it seems that it is the farthest away from the keywords of environmental protection and nature. The PC, which is an aggregation of technology located at a point, is decorated with a tree-shaped design.

Terra Neil’s developer, Free Lives, hopes that the value of preserving the ecosystem will attract more attention, and to achieve their goal, some of the game’s Steam sales proceeds are used to protect endangered species. He also said he would donate to charity.

Terra Nil PC made of wood expresses the return of man-made things to the natural beauty that nature has, and at the same time, it can be said that it visually represents the value that the developer wants to convey through the game.

Devolver Digital released a video introducing the production process of how the wooden PC was made. In the video, you can see how to decorate the PC body with soil, mold, and grass using various tools.

The wooden PC produced through such a special process will be used as a product for the SNS event held to commemorate the launch of Terra Neal. If you share the event notice post on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram, you can participate in the event application. More information about the event can be found on the ‘Terranil PC Special Page’. The environment restoration puzzle simulation game ‘Terranil’ will be released on the PC Steam platform and Netflix game on March 28th.
