Standard announced the departure of Jackson Muleka on Thursday. The Congolese striker will continue his career on the side of Turkey since he joins Besiktas. According to the press release published by the Istanbul club, Besiktas will pay 3.35 million to the Liège club to secure the services of Muleka, who has signed a five-year contract.
Muleka, 22, is already familiar with the Turkish league as he played the second half of last season on loan at Kasimpasa, scoring 12 goals in 14 league appearances. He arrived at Standard in September 2020 from TP Mazembe. He ends his Liège adventure with 15 goals in 54 games.
