Jackson Muleka on his way to Burnley, Bastien should follow!

Standard are set to register their first major start this transfer window. As we told you in our edition this Wednesday, Burnley had targeted, at the request of Vincent Kompany, two Standardmen: Samuel Bastien and Jackson Muleka. The file of the latter would be about to be finalized.

According to our information, the two clubs have reached an agreement around €4m plus bonuses. The Standard would also benefit from 25% on the next sale. Note that the Liège club will have to pay 50% of the transfer amount to TP Mazembe as stipulated in the clause in its contract.

As for Jackson Muleka, a four-year contract would await him on the side of Burnley. The transaction should be approved once the medical visit, passed in two stages, first in Belgium on Thursday and then in England, carried out. The 22-year-old striker will have to wait for a visa which should be issued to him early next week.

As we also revealed to you this Wednesday, Samuel Bastien is also on his way to Burnley. A year before the end of his contract, the Congolese international should accompany his compatriot to Burnley. It comes back to us that the two players were present this Thursday at the Academy and that they would have emptied their lockers.

The departures of Jackson Muleka and Samuel Bastien could well launch the incoming transfer window for the Liégeois who, one suspects, will undoubtedly be looking for a new striker.
