Almost five years after the sudden death of the Cameroonian footballer, Patrick Ekeng, Romanian justice found guilty of manslaughter to Dr. Elena Duta, who treated him on the field of play that May 6, 2016 in which he lost his life playing with the Bucharest Dynamo.

The resolution of this Monday by the Bucharest Court of Appeal establishes that the doctor was grossly negligent by not attempting to revive the Cameroonian player during the three minutes it took for the ambulance to arrive, which it was determined did not have the necessary equipment to revive the player.
