Goodbye message
Jameson Taillon he wrote a parting word on his Twitter account for the Pittsburgh fans and his teammates.
Bittersweet day for me here! Trying to process everything, I have a LOT to say to the city of Pittsburgh and my teammates. I also have A LOT to say about this incredible opportunity and for the city / fans in New York. Thanks to everyone who has reached out! More to come soon.
During an interview with Rob Biertempfel, the new player for the New York Yankees told how the team arrived:
“It didn’t seem like this was something (the Pirates) were looking to do initially, but it got to the point where the Yankees and other teams were persistent. Going from where the Pirates are to the Yankees, where the only What is winning is exciting !.
However, as in all goodbyes, it is difficult for a player to assimilate many things and more when you have a fondness for Pittsburgh.
«It is emotional for me. I was the last man standing in that 2010 draft class. That organization became family. Very excited to go to the Yankees, but this is still difficult.
