2. Keanu Reeves signed the contract for cheap

Despite having already risen to fame for his leading role in “Matrix”, Keanu Reeves agreed to sign the contract with much lower compensation than what would be given to an actor of his stature in Hollywood. The tape had a very low budget (20 million dollars), but the interpreter desperately wanted to return to play an iconic action role. He had such faith that “John Wick” would be a success that he even put in his own money so that the film would not be cancelled.
